# agent.enableThreadShare()

> Public low-code contract, signatures and examples for agent.enableThreadShare.

## `agent.enableThreadShare()`

Creates or re-enables a stable share link for a thread owned by the current user.

Notes:

* Unavailable with `readOnly: true` (throws an error).

### Signature

```ts theme={null}
static enableThreadShare(
      assistantThreadId: string,
    ): Promise<AssistantThreadShare>;
```

### Example

```ts theme={null}
const share = await agent.enableThreadShare(assistantThreadId);
```
