# agent.getRun()

> Public low-code contract, signatures and examples for agent.getRun.

## `agent.getRun()`

Returns one agent run. Read the complete validated terminal answer from result.output;
result.summary is a bounded human-readable summary and must not be parsed as the JSON answer.

### Signature

static getRun(agentRunId: string): Promise<AgentRun>;
```

### Example

```ts theme={null}
const run = await agent.getRun(agentRunId);
const json = run.status === 'FINISHED' && run.result?.output?.type === 'json'
  ? run.result.output.json : undefined;
```
