# api.getCache()

> Public low-code contract, signatures and examples for api.getCache.

## `api.getCache()`

Reads execution-scoped in-memory cache. Returns a detached mutable copy by
default, or the same value when written with `{ reference: true }`.
Missing keys return `undefined`. Entries never cross execution boundaries.

### Signature

```ts theme={null}
static getCache(key: string): any;
```

### Example

```ts theme={null}
const token = api.getCache('token');
```
