# api.releaseRateLimit()

> Public low-code contract, signatures and examples for api.releaseRateLimit.

## `api.releaseRateLimit()`

Resets the entire rate-limit key, including all consumed tokens.

Notes:

* Unavailable with `readOnly: true` (throws an error).

```

await api.releaseRateLimit('outbound:crm');
