# storage.ensureFolderPath()

> Public low-code contract, signatures and examples for storage.ensureFolderPath.

## `storage.ensureFolderPath()`

Resolves a folder path and idempotently creates any missing segments.

Notes:

* Unavailable with `readOnly: true` (throws an error).
* Existing folders are never mutated.
* ACL options apply to every newly created segment.
