# storage.getDownload()

> Public low-code contract, signatures and examples for storage.getDownload.

## `storage.getDownload()`

Generates a signed download URL for a storage file. Without an explicit
namespace the entry is resolved by its globally unique id, matching REST.
Optional ttlSeconds accepts integer seconds from 1 to 604800 (seven days).
Omit it to retain the configured default; file retention can shorten the TTL.
