# storage.updateEntry()

> Public low-code contract, signatures and examples for storage.updateEntry.

## `storage.updateEntry()`

Updates mutable storage entry fields such as name, metadata, or ACLs.

Notes:

* Unavailable with `readOnly: true` (throws an error).

### Overloads
