# util.rsaEncrypt()

> Public low-code contract, signatures and examples for util.rsaEncrypt.

## `util.rsaEncrypt()`

Encrypts with RSA-OAEP and SHA-256 asynchronously. PEM import and data encoding still execute synchronously.

### Signature

static rsaEncrypt(publicKey: string, payload: string): Promise<string>;
```

### Example

```ts theme={null}
const encrypted = await util.rsaEncrypt(publicKey, 'hello');
```
