Use native tests for repeatable assertions, Component debugging for a single execution, and Endpoint preview for an HTTP client. Each answers a different question.

Run a pricing regression

The native pricing example uses a shared library and named fixtures. In the Asterion sample, four filters cost 4625 EUR minor units, while ten cost 11563 after rounding. Neither operation reserves stock.
Expect a completed passing run with two named cases and two assertions. A returned run ID or QUEUED state alone is not a passing result. For local source, run from the configured project or name the workspace:
This captures local source without publishing Component changes. Stored suites use --remote; do not combine it with a local workspace selection.

Control test execution

Cancellation stops remaining work according to its current state. Retain the result and inspect incomplete or aborted cases. Independent native runs accept fixture suites; approved integration tests belong to the Studio review workflow.

Debug one Component

The CLI runs the local Component through Sandbox. --stream displays live diagnostic output. Keep read-only enabled while inspecting pricing or queries. A deliberate writable run uses --read-only=false and may change real data on the selected instance. --call-strategy=caller|endpoints|jobs selects the execution-policy context. It does not grant missing account access, roles, or source approval. Caller is the default. See execution authority and identity.

Preview an HTTP client

Use the listener URL printed by the CLI in your frontend’s development proxy. Local preview uses workspace Endpoint definitions and Component source through Sandbox, watches changes by default, and keeps request validation. The terminal reports request method, route outcome, HTTP status and duration; it is useful for distinguishing a client routing error from a Component failure. Published preview requires a loopback listener and uses the saved execution policy. Its SSE preview is unsupported: call a streaming business Endpoint directly with an SSE-capable client. See HTTP versus SSE for the response lifecycle and disconnect behavior.
