api.input() reads the source’s configured arguments. Later interactive executions add a reserved $widget object. The spelling is $widget, with the dollar sign first.
Initial rendering preserves the original configured input shape. Always handle missing $widget on the first execution. Do not place $widget in saved Inputs.

Context fields

actionResult is absent before confirmation and after remount. It survives ordinary refresh and retained Back navigation. Use a confirmed jobId from that receipt to query the exact Job, rather than guessing from the newest row in history.

Three different kinds of input

Configured defaults and mapped action arguments are merged, with mapped keys winning. A child with no INPUT controls can still read passed arguments through api.input(). An input binding, however, requires an actual INPUT in the current frame. See bindings for the exact reference syntax and state for drafts and reload behavior.
